ASSIGNMENT 2 - SITE VISIT REPORT
Technical site visit to Andes Construction Site
The technical site visit to Andes construction site was held on 26th June 2015 and the site is located between the borderline of Puchong and Bukit Jalil. This site visit is organised by our lecturer, Miss Ang Fuey Lin. We are divided into two groups. As for me, I followed the second group. Each group took about an hour at the site visit. We went to the site by taking bus and some of the students went there by driving their own car because the site is quite near to our campus. We are required to wear safety helmet all along the site visit to ensure head protection. In this individual assignment, we are required to produce a construction site visit report that comprises of 3 subjects which are Measurement I, Construction Technology I and Building Materials.
As for Building Materials, the requirement for the site visit report is to identify the grade of reinforced concrete used for the construction of the following building elements :

column ( Grade 45 )

beam ( Grade 35 )

slab ( Grade 35 waterproofing )

foundation ( Grade 35 )
Other than that, we need to further explain on the advantages and disadvantages on each of the identified reinforced concrete. Through this assignment, I've learned to explore, recognize and understand the building materials used for construction and of course, aware the importance of safety on site and understanding of safety problems and site conditions.
