GROUP ASSIGNMENT  

Cold Water Plumbing

 

This assignment is in a form of group assignment that contributes to 25% of the total assessment. We were divided in a group of five. My group mates are Albert, Po Yi, Jian Ru, Weng Lok and I.

 

After the brief session that given by Ms. Laura, our group leader delegate tasks among us. I was in charge of producing Bills of Quantities and the other members were measuring elements for cold water plumbing such as all the pipings and fittings that were shown in drawings. After the measurement that they've carried out, I'm the one who compile their measurements and analyze them and eventually putting them in my Bills of Quantities. We work together in colouring and labelling those pipes and fittings so that's easier for us when we are measuring them.

 

From this assignment, I'm glad that I'm able to read the drawings by indicating the incoming and outgoing pipes as well as identify all different kind of fittings such as bends and tees. I'm happy that we were able to meet the deadline and carry out the works given in an orderly and properly manner. I definitely did learnt a lot from this assignment.
