Group Assignment

Taking Off + Glodon BIM model

This group assignment stands 25% of the total assessment. We were required to prepare measurement (Taking Off) for doors and windows on a selected property. As for our group, we chose condominium. My groupmates are Tan Jia Yi, Lee Ren Jet, Yeo Doreen and Kiah Chun.

 

As for me, I’m responsible in collecting data and information. I’ve visited the condominium and requested a floor plan for my unit from the management office. After that, I record the site measurement and dimension. From the site measurement and dimension, we were required to prepare a report which comprises taking off and bill of quantities for all doors and windows. In addition, we were asked to prepare a BIM model for the selected property.

From this assignment, we find it interesting because it requires our technical skills which we have to create a BIM model by our own and thus prepare taking off from there. Last but not least, I’m glad that every of my groupmates does contributes to this assignment and we help each other all along the progress. This shows that we possess good team spirit.
