This module intends to provide understanding of a wide range of building components with different functions. It also describes the design process, how to build the element and some simple sketches.

Generate an understanding of the application of construction in the design development process
Have a comprehensive knowledge on building parts and materials used
From what I have learned in this module, I am able to explain the principles and practices of construction technology in residential buildings and to work generally of a more complex nature. Moreover, I'm able to describe the definition of precise functional requirements and appraise implementation of erection. Last but not least, explain the construction of buildings and the scientific principles which underpin the design and construction.
