INDUSTRIAL TRAINING REPORT 

INTERNSHIP REPORT + LOG BOOK & WORK DIARY

 

 

This industrial training aims for providing students with the real-life experience in an actual working environment. We were required to produce an internship report, log book and work diary at the end of this programme.

 

This industrial training creates awareness and understanding among students of the collaboration of the building team and to recognise their significance and contributions to the success of construction projects. In addition, to train students in order to develop their organisation skills and understand the real-life responsibilities in industrial organisations, including construction contracts management and administration and to develop the ability to source data and evaluate information, consider alternatives and make well-reasoned recommendations.

This industrial training undoubtedly is the crucial path that let student like me to build occupation-specific skills and professional connections that we should acquire in construction field. It gave me the strength and confidence to push myself beyond my limits and strive to be a more competent QS. The lessons learnt that I gained from this internship will definitely help me to grow and I’ll use these skills that I’ve attained effectively and wisely when I step out to the outside world. It really enlightens me to have new insight towards the profession of Quantity Surveyor and inspires me to have different perspective towards work and makes me realize that perseverance is what that matters in work life. Indeed a great explosure.
